Kayla Rae Reid was born on July 5, 1991, in Fairfax, Virginia. At the age of 10, she relocated with her family to Palm Springs, California. Initially aspiring to become a professional cheerleader, Kayla's interests shifted towards modeling during her teenage years. She attended Fullerton College in California, where she continued to explore opportunities in the modeling industry. ​

Modeling Career

Kayla's modeling career gained significant traction when she was featured as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in July 2015. Prior to this, she worked as a Monster Energy Girl, promoting the brand at various events. Her association with Playboy opened doors to further opportunities in the modeling world, including appearances at high-profile events and collaborations with other models. ​

Personal Life

In 2016, Kayla met Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte through Instagram. Their relationship quickly blossomed, leading to an engagement later that year during a private helicopter tour over Los Angeles. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Caiden Zane, in June 2017. They officially tied the knot in January 2018 in a private ceremony, followed by a lavish celebration in Palm Springs in September 2018. Kayla and Ryan have since expanded their family with two daughters: Liv Rae, born in June 2019, and Georgia June, born in June 2023. ​

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Beyond modeling, Kayla has ventured into the real estate industry. Since September 2021, she has been working as a realtor with Tioga Realty in Gainesville, Florida. Her interest in real estate was influenced by her father and grandfather, who were involved in building custom luxury homes.
